Individual is a semi-active polish band, originating from Wyrzysk in Poland.
The band has been formed in 1994 by Wojciech Sobiech (guitar and vocals) and Dawid Chorabik (guitar and vocals). Immediately after this brave act, Maciej Polewczyński (drums) and Sebastian Wiśniewski (bass guitar) joined.
As young and brave the band started to play Metallica covers and compose some own material. Coming from small town the band played as many concerts as could find
Some time later a vocalist joined the team and the group shifted towards Gothic Metal.
Later, Maciej Polewczyński has been replaced by Maciej Brzeziński and have recorded a demo CD titled “Cisza”. This CD contained 4 songs: Cisza, A było Cię…, Biała Śmierć and Burza.
After the demo CD has been recorded, vocalist left the band, and after hard looking for a new vocalist (to be honest it wasn’t priority…) the group decided to shift musically again towards Technical Death Metal, with Dawid on vocals (growlcals?)
Later Sebastian Wiśniewski has been replaced by Mateusz Holc on the bass guitar. The band played few nice concerts (as Vader support once, and as Ceti support during Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy final)
Inevitably life kicked in and the band somehow cease to actively exists, until 40th birthday of Wojciech and Dawid (1 year later). For those 2 events the group met again (with few notable guests) and played two single events.
There is hope that they will meet again…
